1802 Arrival: Simeon PRIOR, his wife and 10 children migrated to OH from Northampton, MA (The Summit County Beacon, 20 Apr 1887. The article also states that Prior died in 1836 at age 82 and had served in the American Revolution. Another article in the Akron Beacon Journal on 7 Sept 1891 reported the death of William Pryor, born 1825 in Northampton, OH (probably the grandson of Simeon Prior.)
